How do I enrol as a student at the Sense of Taste Chef School?

Kitchen visits

We request that prospective students visit us at the school kitchens for an opportunity to meet and chat to the chefs and to view our facilities. An interview will then be held with Debbie at your visit to assess your suitability. A Skype interview may also be arranged should you be unable to visit the kitchens in person.

Application forms

At the interview, you and your parents/guardian will need to submit your completed application form. This form will either be emailed to you beforehand or can be completed at the school when you visit. No application fees are charged by the school.

Confirmation deposits

Once we have assessed your application form and you have been formally accepted, a pro-forma invoice will be issued for the deposit. This non-refundable deposit of R20 000 is required to secure a prospective student’s place on the course on acceptance. This deposit forms part of the total fees and will be deducted from the total. The balance is then due once the course starts. (T’c and C’s apply.)
